Something interesting we learned about their name – it, surprisingly enough, doesn’t come from two people named Matt and Nat. Matt and Nat actually stands for ‘material’ and ‘nature’. Matt and Nat incorporates sustainable principles into each of their bags, using linings inside all their handbags that are made out of 100% recycled plastic bottles. Matt and Nat also refer to their manufacturing and design house in Canada as the ‘Cruelty Free’ zone. As a brand, they reject using animal products and use vegan alternatives for their accessories and apparel. In terms of their design aesthetic, we love their vintage and retro style. This purse functions as a neat vintage handbag that doubles as a cross-body purse (with the strap attachment). In our opinion, it’s one of the best vegan leather handbags on our list.
